Dear Westwood Heights families,
We hope this message finds you in good health and high spirits. First and foremost, we want to express our heartfelt gratitude for the support you have continuously provided to our district. Indeed, it takes a village to achieve success, and your involvement and encouragement make all the difference.
As many of you know, our much-anticipated Homecoming event was unfortunately postponed due to safety concerns. We understand the excitement and anticipation surrounding such events, and we are pleased to announce that we have diligently worked to address the safety issues and can now confidently reschedule our 2023 Homecoming festivities. The new dates are as follows:
5:30 PM: Homecoming Parade
7:00 PM: Homecoming Football Game
7:00 PM: Homecoming Dance
Once again, thank you for your ongoing support and understanding. We look forward to celebrating Homecoming with all of you on October 13th and 14th. Let's make these moments unforgettable for our students and show them the strength of our Westwood Heights family.
Please watch the video message of Superintendent Leslie Key and Mt. Morris Township Police Chief Michael Veach to explain further.
